Today, I am taking a 3 hour drive up to the Catskill Mountains, to see legendary porn actor Michael Dattorre (Michael Gaunt). He starred in some of the greatest adult features of all time. I am visiting him to do a short interview and some commentary and voice over for the upcoming Barbara Broadcast release. I am more than excited as I have met Michael before, and his energy, his charisma and commitment to his craft is second to none. To this day he remains actively involved in the theatre and film.

If only famed adult legend and historian, Jim Holiday, could see this version. Already considered one of the hottest sex scenes of all time, it will now blow your mind. RIP – Adult Legend Harry Reems

Adult Legend Harry Reems passed away yesterday at the age of 65. Harry has been in poor health for the past year or so and lost his battle with cancer. Our thoughts go out to his family and loved ones.

To many, Reems is a household name, simply because of his participation in one single film, DEEPTHROAT, which is maybe the most popular of adult films. The film was the subject of major political turmoil throughout the 70′s and Reems, along with others were all arrested. But before Deepthroat, Harry was already a veteran of the NY sex scene. He started making loops with his peers like Jamie Gillis and Marc Stevens- and all three then went on to star in several Distribpix films of the late 60′s and early 70′s -Pre throat. Then came Deepthroat, and through it all, he remained a gentlemen. He continued to star in the industry in hundreds of titles and is easily one of the most popular actor/icon/adult stars.

One of my favorite scenes with Harry Reems/ Tamie Trevor, in High Rise, 1973(Danny Stone). Recently this film was scanned in 2k resolution, but the below are some standard screen grabs!

MISTY BEETHOVEN- THEATRICAL SCREENING- 35 mm PRINT FOUND

EXCLUSIVE NEWS: MISTY BEETHOVEN PRINT FOUND FOR SCREENING!!!

The screening of the restored version of The Opening of Misty Beethoven, which is set for tomorrow night at Anthology Film Archives at 9:30pm, will now be an actual screening of a 35 mm print, which is in wonderful condition. The majority of film fans would much rather view a print as opposed to a DVD or BLU RAY, especially in a theater experience/setting. As a matter of fact, I know many who would prefer a beat up print, over a DVD, when it comes to any screening. It is going to be an amazing experience. We are hoping that this last minute news will be more than a surprise and I hope that it brings out a few more.

I will be on hand to introduce the film, along with Process Blue’s Joe Rubin. Joe’s company Process Blue performed the 2 k scan and digital restoration for the entire project. While we will keep our dialog short, we will be there all night long, so please feel free to come over to us and ask any questions or introduce yourself.
